Amanda Abbington (born in England) is an English actor from England. Amanda Abbington has a long acting career, both in theatre and film. She is most famous for her role as Josie Mardle, in Mr Selfridge or Mary Morstan, in Sherlock. Martin Freeman is the proud father of two kids. Amanda Abbington is his former partner and they share their children. Freeman and Abbington were in a relationship which ran from 2000 to 2016. In their relationship, they had a son called Joe and an infant daughter called Grace. Abbington portrayed Mary Morstan (the wife of John Watson), played by Martin Freeman in her third series of Sherlock. Sherlock is the BBC adaptation of Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes Stories. They've never spoken of their separation, however it is believed that Martin was filming in the US and in the US for films, such as Black Panther, the Marvel movie Black Panther, was, among other things, a cause for their breakup.
